Dado Ruvić for Patria: One of my first assignments for Reuters was Srebrenica in 2009.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, Reuters photojournalist Dado Ruvić organised an open-air exhibition in the City of Zenica, showcasing some of the most poignant photographs he captured during the commemorations of the Srebrenica genocide in previous years, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Ruvić is a photojournalist for Reuters, one of the world's largest news agencies. Using a combination of art and raw news photography, he has developed a distinctive and recognisable style, earning praise from all over the world.

- We wanted to bring the exhibition closer to people who do not often visit museums, theatres and galleries. That is why we decided to hold the exhibition outdoors, on the promenade, among ordinary people - Ruvić told Patria, adding that the theme he presented in the photographs is something Bosnia and Herzegovina must never forget, which is why it is even more important for him that his photographs reach as many people as possible.

- One of my first assignments for Reuters was the anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide in 2009, which I have been covering ever since. Srebrenica is a complex story, and it takes a lot of time to convey it to others - Ruvić explains.

The director of the Museum of the City of Zenica, Adnadin Jašarević, reminded that Ruvić's photographs will be displayed at Alija Izetbegović Square in Zenica until July 17, 24 hours a day, NAP writes.
