Dačić: Why would we arrest Šešelj when their Thompson is free

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić stated that he doesn't see why Serbia should arrest the leader of the Radicals Vojislav Šešelj for burning the Croatian flag when Croatian officials don't even consider arresting the singer Marko Perković Thompson, who openly displayed Ustasha and fascist symbols during the celebration of Operation Storm in Knin, reports the Patria News Agency.

“I haven’t noticed that the authorities in Croatia have considered arresting the singer Thompson, who openly called for Ustashism with fascist messages. Let them sort out their own yard, instead of asking us to arrest Šešelj. Serbia respects its laws.

As we have already stated in the protest note, the act during the commemoration of Operation Storm in Croatia is uncivilized and contrary to the anti-fascist tradition and the EU, Dačić emphasized in an interview with Kurir the day after the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a protest note to Serbia over the burning of the Croatian flag in Belgrade.
