Is the human rights resolution just a smokescreen for small communities, while the big ones have the comfort to continue killing?

(Patria) - December 10th was declared Human Rights Day by a UN General Assembly resolution.

This resolution guarantees equal rights to all people in the world. Given that all human rights were violated in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the nineties, and based on that, the UN Security Council established the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), precisely with the aim of punishing perpetrators of violations of fundamental human rights, the ICTY succeeded, for the first time in history, in bringing to justice, and then punishing, the masterminds of the most serious war crimes, violating, among other things, the Convention on Human Rights.

"However, despite the fact that those most responsible have been punished for their deeds, they are still heroes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in the region, their deeds are glorified, their murals are dedicated, their bloody rampage continues. That is why we ask ourselves whether the famous statement after World War II, 'never again', and the human rights resolution are just a smokescreen for small communities of people, while the big ones have the comfort to continue killing and denying.

We call on all UN member states to respect the adopted resolutions!", announced the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and the Movement "Mothers of the Enclaves of Srebrenica and Žepa".
