Will Čović ever be held accountable for exploiting Bosniaks in 1993 in Mostar?

During the fiercest conflicts between the HVO and the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Mostar, today's member of the BiH Presidency and leader of the HDZ BiH Dragan Čović was the director of the Mostar Aircraft Industry Soko, writes the news agency Patria. 

Given the documentation from that period, when he, as the head of Soko, requested 10 Bosniak prisoners who were detained in the Central Military Investigation Prison of the phantom HZ HB to come to Soko to perform heavy labor, it should not be surprising that he enthusiastically attended the welcome for convicted war criminal Dario Kordić, or that he bowed at the grave of Gojko Šušak in Zagreb, and everyone knows what the role of this first associate of Franjo Tuđman was regarding our country and his insistence on the partition of BiH. 

It is interesting that Čović, given his rigid communist past, was not perceived by many as a true Croat.

Thus, Šušak also had reservations about him, but the extremely cunning and pragmatic Čović showed even during the aggression on our country that he knew how to fight for his "Croatness." Also, the fact that he was at the head of Soko speaks volumes that in the then HZ HB he was not just a mere observer, but highly ranked in the hierarchy. 

He remained at the head of Soko for several more years, and his influence was not diminished even after he left the director's chair.

This is supported by the testimony of the former director of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH, Kemal Čaušević, who stated in his testimony that Čović took him around Mostar and sold him the Soko building for double the market price, thereby pocketing several hundred thousand marks.

In addition, the people of Mostar are witnesses to his enormous overnight enrichment.
