If Spain had a Halil Lagumdžija in its judiciary, Catalans would now be celebrating a state!

You won't believe it. You will be confused. You will check multiple times. But yes, it is true that the President of the HJPC Halil Lagumdžija reacted to Milorad Dodik's statements. It happened, as unexpected as it may be.

And this is how the head of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina responded to the de facto threats by the President of Republika Srpska to the BiH judiciary:

“Considering the content of the statement and its possible consequences, I, as a human being, as a judge, as the President of the Council, consider this statement inappropriate, and I must say, inadmissible. This undermines the principle of separation of powers, and furthermore, a threat of this kind can significantly limit the independence in forming opinions and making decisions of every individual judicial office holder in Republika Srpska,” stated Lagumdžija.

Of course, Lagumdžija did not react to the fact that Dodik's secessionist attack on the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its constitutional and legal order is in an advanced stage. The President of the HJPC revealed his skill and knowledge through his fight for the fairness of judicial proceedings, while turning a blind eye to the attack on the state. Thus, Lagumdžija considers the fairness of proceedings more important than conducting proceedings in defense of the state, the judiciary, and fairness.

You are no longer surprised. This is expected. Of course. Who expects Lagumdžija and so-called Bosniak cadres in the judiciary to react and hold Dodik's sidekick, Chief State Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić, accountable for failing to react.

Halil's knowledge of this is questionable, but his motivation is even more questionable, given that he is the president of the HJPC, which elected the chief prosecutor like Our Party elected its president. A competition, procedures, one candidate, and a clear choice.

Democracy is for others, who have prosecutors and their controllers who react to the slightest threat to the state with all means from the permissible arsenal. Lagumdžija cannot grasp this, which is why it is easier for him to issue a statement about Dodik threatening the fairness of proceedings, hoping that the media will publish it and consider it an adequate reaction.

Imagine if Spain, during the rebellion, had a Catalan Kajganić and a Madrilenian Lagumdžija at the head of its prosecution. It would have been a perfect tandem for achieving Puigdemont's dreams. The Catalan Kajganić would have displayed all the absurdity of the judicial system, and Lagumdžija would have sought refuge in the tavern called fairness.

Or, let's say, if the American judiciary had this duo in decision-making positions. There would be no White House today, and a civil war would rage across America. Because, only such scenarios are possible when an installed prosecutor and a controller unworthy of his position (head of the HJPC) sabotage the state judiciary with the aim of preventing any prosecution of secessionists gathered around Dodik.

So many articles by different authors about the BiH judiciary have been published on Patria's pages. If you were to sum them up, it would be an exceptionally high-quality book, with the only possible title – It's time to dismantle the judicial system!

Because, what we have now, which someone installed for us or we ourselves passively allowed to be installed, is not even the semblance of justice in the original meaning of the word. In fact, it would be insufficient to remove even the cleaning staff from that judiciary; a real reform would involve a total reconstruction of all law faculties in BiH.

Lawyers clearly haven't learned anything, given that they have allowed Lagumdžija and Kajganić to manage the BiH judiciary!
