Cvijanović: I invite the authorities of BiH, Serbia, and Croatia to talks on the rehabilitation of the Dayton Agreement under Trump's leadership

(Patria) - The Chairwoman of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, issued a statement today calling on Serbia and Croatia to initiate talks with the authorities of BiH on the rehabilitation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

"I believe that BiH can emerge from the current political and constitutional crisis only through open and sincere internal dialogue, as well as with the support of our closest neighbors. I invite Serbia and Croatia, as signatories to the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH, to initiate talks together with the authorities in BiH on the rehabilitation of the Dayton Agreement and the protection of the constitutionally guaranteed rights of its constituent peoples, which have been severely undermined under the guise of creating a functional state that would only suit one people.

The most important thing is to preserve peace and stability in BiH, and this can only be ensured through the equality of rights of all its peoples and respect for the role of its entities. I believe that the rehabilitation of the true sovereignty of BiH can only be achieved through the democratic work of its institutions, without the abuse of rights and the judiciary, without the brutal, undemocratic methods applied by unelected foreigners who do not represent a single voter in BiH.

I also believe that this process should be led under the strong leadership of the administration of President Trump, because I believe that only this administration can deal with the bad legacy of various bureaucrats and globalist elites who, through their interventions, have turned BiH into a failed project.

The fact is that all previous crises in BiH were generated by the illegal imposition of decisions by high representatives, which must be annulled. The role of high representatives must be returned to the framework of Annex 10 of the Dayton Agreement, and the residents of both entities, regardless of their national or religious affiliation, must be helped to restore faith in their institutions.

Also, I call on EUFOR and NATO to help the domestic authorities, through their increased presence, to preserve peace and ensure stability," Cvijanović said.
