(Patria) - The meeting of the BiH Presidency members with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg was constructive, assessed Željka Cvijanović. She told the media that different views were presented at the meeting.
"Membership was not the topic, he said that it is a matter of each country's commitment. Even if we all agreed now, BiH has not met the conditions for such a thing. I said that I am in favour of developing cooperation with NATO as we agreed. There were disagreements with my colleagues, but this was a meeting where I saw that there was no pressure. It was an exemplary meeting," said Cvijanović.
She said that the NATO chief spoke about domestic solutions and that one should not expect anyone to solve something in BiH with a magic wand.
Cvijanović emphasized that Stoltenberg said there is no security crisis in BiH.
"I said that there is manipulation and that an image is being sent that RS is to blame for something. It is important to me that there is an awareness that this type of capacity for some internal conflict in BiH does not exist. I said that everything that happens in BiH is a political arena. We want to be committed to the Dayton Agreement and I do not accept that any individual can place themselves above and substitute something that parliaments should do," said Cvijanović.
