Cvijanović at Dayton Conference: RS Paid for Conference in the US to Present Itself as a State!?

One of the world's best journalists, Christiane Amanpour, a few days ago in a statement for FACE TV briefly spoke about the move made by Republika Srpska in the US, writes the news agency Patria.  

-Recently, an event occurred that left me speechless. RS paid for an advertisement in Foreign Policy magazine as a sponsor. They took that money, as if RS were an independent state. Everyone has political rights, but I think you have to be careful about what is happening around you, said Amanpour.  

And precisely at the conference being held in Washington, organized by this American magazine on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreement, and in which RS Prime Minister Željka Cvijanović is participating, what Amanpour warned about happened - Bosniak associations operating in the US saw through the intentions of the RS authorities and Cvijanović.

The associations are putting great pressure on the organizers to cancel the conference so that RS, which paid for the sponsored advertisement, would not have the opportunity to present its view of Dayton, but also the future of BiH, which is already known to lead towards stories about the division of the state and the impossibility of maintaining the state of BiH.  

The Advisory Board for BiH, on its website, accused the magazine that the conference was paid for by RS, which, in their assessment, is a one-sided conference on Dayton.

However, that there is truth in what the Bosniak associations in the US are saying was confirmed by Amanpour herself. It will be interesting to see who the other participants of the conference are, and why the President of the Government of one BiH entity is speaking at this gathering and on whose behalf, and who invited her.
