Cvijanović Mandate Holder, Whether "Domovina" Will Support Dodik's Government Depends on SDA

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik will hold a press conference tomorrow regarding the appointment of a mandate holder for the composition of the Government of Republika Srpska, announced from the cabinet of the RS President, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The President of Republika Srpska conducted a series of consultations this week on the mandate holder with parties and organizations. The press conference at which Dodik will announce the name of the mandate holder is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 AM in the Palace of the Republic.

The invitation to consultations that Dodik held with parliamentary parties in the National Assembly of the RS was not accepted by PDP, NDP, and SRS.

Representatives of the coalition "Domovina" Ramiz Salkić and Senad Bratić held consultations with Dodik, but it is still unknown whether the five deputies of the coalition "Domovina" in the NSRS will support the mandate holder proposed by Dodik, because the party of Željko Komšić DF strongly opposed the idea that "Domovina" should support Dodik's government and possibly participate in its work. More precisely, it will depend on the SDA whether "Domovina" will vote in the NSRS for the new government, i.e., in return receive certain ministerial positions.

What is known so far is that one ministerial position, which according to the Constitution of the RS belongs to the Croatian people, is reportedly reserved for a cadre of HDZBiH Davor Čordaš.

According to what Patria has previously written, the mandate holder will most likely be the current Prime Minister Željka Cvijanović, Dodik's closest associate.
