Cvijanović and Nelson Discuss Political Situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - President of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović received today the Ambassador of the United States of America to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Eric Nelson, in an introductory visit, with whom she discussed the current political and economic situation in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the improvement of cooperation between the United States of America and Republika Srpska, the Cabinet of Željka Cvijanović announced.

On this occasion, Cvijanović emphasized that the institutions of Republika Srpska are fully committed to the European integration process and the further implementation of economic and social reforms aimed at improving the business environment and the living standard of all citizens.

In the conversation with the American ambassador, the President of Republika Srpska stressed that respect for democratic procedures and the implementation of the electoral will of citizens, which implies the formation of a new convocation of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a prerequisite for the legitimate functioning of common institutions, as well as for the efficient resolution of very demanding tasks on the European path.
