Guardians of Bosnia in Divič: Great things can be achieved through unity and good projects

(Patria) - Representatives of the association 'Guardians of Bosnia' visited Zvornik and the returnees in the settlement of Divič, where they presented symbolic aid to the Football Club 'Mladost'.

This story of FK Mladost is one of the more beautiful sports stories in the Zvornik area. After the club was reactivated in 2020, the management, members, players, and former players have been finding various ways to collect the necessary funds for competition and operation. They are very successful in their performances, currently playing in the Regional League where they are achieving excellent results and are currently second in the standings.

Jahja Muhasilović, representing the Guardians of Bosnia, presented balls to members of the management, including Ilijaz Miralemović, Amir Kapidžić, and Mukerem Kuršumović, and they discussed the problems and challenges faced by returnees in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.



The enthusiasts gathered around this club provide an opportunity for sustainable return and survival in this area rich in natural beauty.

Today, around 300 Bosniaks live in Divič, and they are special because after the aggression, they did not sell their homes, but rather returned en masse despite the terrible events and torture they experienced during 1992.
