Guardians of Bosnia: Pro-Bosnian politics must urgently define action plans in case of Dodik's threats being realised!

(Patria) - The association Guardians of Bosnia warns the public of Bosnia and Herzegovina about the obvious incompetence and lack of coordination of pro-Bosnian/Bosniak political structures in facing the crisis that Milorad Dodik is systematically creating as a response to the judicial process.

"Instead of a clear plan and common strategy, we are faced with political improvisations, empty promises, and a lack of vision on how to protect the state in these critical moments.

What is particularly concerning is the fact that the current pro-Bosnian/Bosniak governing structures, the Trojka (SDP, NIP, NS), faced with serious threats to the integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, have no response to the moves coming from Banja Luka. Instead of showing strength and unity, pro-Bosnian/Bosniak politics is once again deceiving citizens with a false sense of security, relying on guarantees from the international community," the Guardians of Bosnia association stated.

They add: "History teaches us that such guarantees have often been dangerous for Bosnia and Herzegovina – from the arms embargo and the inability to prevent aggression and genocide, to this day when international factors often tolerate the destabilization of our country for their own interests. Relying on others, instead of our own strength and coordination, leaves us unprotected and vulnerable".

"At the same time, we must emphasize that the Trojka parties are falling into Milorad Dodik's trap when they tell us that BiH institutions are preserving peace, while Dodik announces the disintegration of the state in that peace. Institutions must be strengthened to protect the state, and a strong state is capable of preserving peace. Furthermore, it must be clear to the current pro-Bosnian/Bosniak actors in power that no state has ever been defended with empty promises and statements," warn the Guardians of Bosnia.

The Guardians of Bosnia association calls on pro-Bosnian/Bosniak political leaders to stop the policy of waiting and finally show responsibility towards citizens and the state. We believe it is necessary that by the time of the verdict in Dodik's judicial process, the following steps are ready:

Formation of a unified crisis headquarters – which will bring together all key socio-political actors for a coordinated response to threats.

Development of a clear action plan – defining steps for the defense of the constitutional order and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mobilization of institutions – ensuring that all state structures, including security agencies, act proactively and in coordination, even in the event of Serbian cadres withdrawing from these institutions.

In the event that Milorad Dodik proceeds with the announced activities, prepare a clear plan for a return to the Constitution of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

International pressure from a position of strength – instead of relying on the goodwill of foreigners, insist on concrete commitments from international partners, while simultaneously strengthening internal capacities.

"Bosnia and Herzegovina is not anyone's colony or experiment – it is the home of our ancestors and the future of our children. Pro-Bosnian/Bosniak politics must understand that time for improvisation and deception is running out. The Guardians of Bosnia association remains committed to the fight for a stable, sovereign, and indivisible Bosnia and Herzegovina, and calls on all patriots to unite in this goal," the statement said.
