Guardians of Bosnia wrote to the 'Trojka': Subservient policy, instead of Europe, leads BiH to an abyss!

(Patria) - The citizens' association 'Guardians of Bosnia' addressed the representatives of the political bloc 'Trojka' in a press release, warning them that their subservient policy, which is increasingly moving away from state and European principles, is leading BiH to an abyss.

"On behalf of the citizens you are obliged to represent, with the expectation that you will protect the sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the integrity of its institutions, and not be instruments of foreign interests, neighboring countries, or domestic political actors working against the interests of BiH, we address you with a sense of deep concern and indignation. Bosnia and Herzegovina is at a historical crossroads, and your decisions and actions will be judged through the lens of time that does not forgive mistakes.

First and foremost, the derogation of BiH institutions that is taking place under your leadership is not only unacceptable but also dangerous. Your subservient policy, which is increasingly moving away from state and European principles, is leading us to an abyss. How is it possible that under your leadership, the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH are being changed by a majority decision, bypassing all procedures? Such a procedure is unimaginable in any democratic country, let alone one striving for EU membership. With such actions, you are not only violating constitutional norms but also undermining the foundations of our state and statehood. As an association that articulates the views of patriotic forces, we believe that this issue can only be addressed by strictly adhering to clear constitutional norms, respecting the views of all parliamentary parties, and the general interests of our state, not just one political party.

Furthermore, changes to the method of electing members of the Presidency, as well as the replacement of foreign judges, are possible exclusively through amendments to the Constitution, not laws. This was also emphasized by the US Ambassador Michael Murphy himself in the context of electing members of the BiH Presidency.

Your subservience to HDZ BiH and Dragan Čović inevitably leads us to the Palestinization of Bosniaks, who were the backbone of resistance during the aggression and throughout our country's history. We must not allow our country to become a playground for realizing the interests of others, where Bosniaks will be marginalized in their own country. Such a scenario will inevitably lead to the radicalization of one of the most peaceful peoples in the world. Peaceful, but also immensely brave!

Additionally, by yielding to Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović, the Cyprus scenario is being implemented over our country. The division of BiH into two entities, which are increasingly becoming extensions of two neighboring states, is being consciously strengthened. Bosniaks are systematically oppressed and marginalized in both entities. In the Federation of BiH, processes are dictated by HDZ-BiH and Zagreb, while the RS is turning into part of Serbia, where Bosniaks are rapidly losing freedoms and rights. This is unacceptable and must stop immediately!

The letter from the American administration and Ambassador Michael Murphy clearly speaks of your obligations, including the delivery of gas interconnections and the cessation of appeasing the harmful policies pursued by Dragan Čović. Why are you ignoring these demands? Why are you silent on Antony Blinken's letter? We demand that you publicly distance yourselves from Dragan Čović's policies and start pursuing policies that will prioritize the interests of BiH. Publicly state your position and tell us how you plan to respond to these demands.

The judgments Kovačević, Sejdić-Finci, Pudarić, Pilav, and Zornić must be implemented. They are key to our European path and transformation into a normal civic state. Set these judgments as red lines in negotiations with SNSD and HDZ and do not deviate from them. State policy is not conducted by appeasing Dodik and Čović, but by protecting the interests of BiH.

We emphatically emphasize that the patriots of BiH, led by the Association Guardians of Bosnia, will never accept amendments to the Election Law that violate the Constitution. Any attempt to create a 'floating third entity' is nothing but unacceptable to the patriots of our homeland. Do not test the tolerance of patriotic forces that can be mobilized at any moment.

Finally, we clearly tell you: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosniaks cannot be threatened with force! History has shown that we know how to respond to force with force. We will not back down from any pressure. We expect you to review your policies in the shortest possible time and start working exclusively in the interest of BiH and its citizens," the statement said.
