Guardians of Bosnia: Those responsible for the Serbian helicopter in Trebinje must face the public and be investigated for negligence

(Patria) - The association Guardians of Bosnia is concerned and condemns the irresponsible actions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, as well as the BiH Minister of Defense, Zukan Helez, who allowed a helicopter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia to land and remain on the territory of BiH, the association announced.

"We demand that, in order to preserve the territorial integrity of BiH and calm the public, those responsible in the chain publicly release the request that came from Serbia and clearly establish who gave permission for the aircraft to remain in Trebinje, thus making an unacceptable oversight. The public must know who is to blame!

This act represents a serious violation of our country's sovereignty and security.

Minister Helez must urgently take all necessary steps to ensure that the helicopter and crew leave the territory of BiH and resign due to endangering the country's security, as well as other responsible parties.

Such actions create a dangerous precedent and prove the porosity of our borders and system, which can lead to additional security threats from other countries.

This situation is particularly concerning in light of the conclusions of the recently held 'all-Serbian assembly', where it was clearly emphasized that the territorial integrity of BiH will not be respected. The very arrival of the Serbian MUP crew in Trebinje is part of the agreement from the 'all-Serbian assembly'.

The Trojka, the coalition forming the government, has shown not only irresponsibility but also anti-state behavior.

If Serbia can station its aircraft on our territory without consequences, the question arises whether this means that any other country can freely violate our sovereignty and the security of BiH citizens. This incident shows that the defense of BiH is now in the hands of its patriots, while state institutions have failed to protect the interests of the state. And all this raises the question of what will happen if Serbia or another country tries to station its military vehicles, army, or act in any other way on the territory of BiH next time.

We call on all competent authorities to react urgently and take all necessary measures to protect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina and ensure the security of all its citizens. They swore an oath to that responsibility!", announced Guardians of Bosnia.
