Ćulum is in the building in Lukavica, SIPA employees still at their workstations

(Patria) - SIPA Director Darko Ćulum is at work today in the building in East Sarajevo.

This morning, the SIPA building in Banja Luka was evicted, and employees left the premises at the request of the RS MUP, and then by Ćulum's order. However, the situation at the SIPA headquarters in Lukavica is calm for now.

News emerged that some employees were told to leave their workplaces, but we have not received confirmation of this information. Several employees who are in the building in Lukavica confirmed to Patria that they are at their workstations and have no orders regarding action.

There are no patrols or members of the RS MUP around the building in Lukavica.

There are about 650 employees in the building who came to work this morning, of which 300 are Bosniaks, and almost the same number are Serbs.

For days, Director Ćulum has been giving media sparse answers about the new situation and his actions, leaving room for doubts.

Last week, he attended a meeting that included RS President Milorad Dodik and BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović, as well as RS MUP Minister Siniša Karan. Besides Ćulum, cadres from among the Serbs from other state police agencies also came to the meeting, after the RS NSRS passed unconstitutional laws banning the work of SIPA, the Prosecutor's Office, the Court, and the HJPC on the territory of the RS. Dodik called on all Serbs from these institutions to leave them and go to work in the RS MUP and other entity institutions.

Since March 5, when the laws were published in the RS Official Gazette, their implementation began.

The EUFOR commander was at the SIPA headquarters in Lukavica yesterday, and forces were deployed today in Pale.

After the RS MUP banned SIPA's work in Banja Luka, the BiH Presidency requested EUFOR intervention.
