Ćudić: After Poplašeni, Šešelj at the head of the BiH Directorate for EU Integrations?

Regarding the decision of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly to appoint Nikola Poplašen as a member of the Management Board of the Agency for Higher Education of BiH, Sabina Ćudić, vice-president of Our Party, reacted, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- The decision to appoint a declared Chetnik duke to the Management Board of the Agency for Higher Education of BiH proves how committed the ruling coalition actually is to the European path of BiH. The state-led people's coalition is full of talk about the European Union and the Reform Agenda, and then when concrete steps need to be taken, it happens that they appoint Poplašen, whose stance is that the European Union is the Fourth Reich whose intention is to commit genocide against the Serbian people, as a person who should implement reforms and harmonize higher education with European standards. Should we, after this, expect Vojislav Šešelj to be appointed head of the Directorate for EU Integrations of BiH, or something similar, because the limits of the ruling coalition's ideological backwardness can no longer be determined - said Sabina Ćudić.

- For the implementation of the Reform Agenda to have a real effect, in addition to legislative harmonization of BiH with the EU, a personnel reform is also needed. People with both professional and moral credibility should take over positions in institutions of reform, of state importance. The current situation, where on the day when envoys of the European Commission submit the Progress Report on BiH, the ruling coalition appoints a right-wing Eurosceptic who was Vojislav Šešelj's sycophant in the 90s and an inspirer of crimes – for which, incidentally, he was not prosecuted nor has he apologized to the victims – shows that the right-wing ruling coalition understands reforms as a dead letter on paper, which serves them as a smokescreen for the implementation of their retrograde intentions - concluded Ćudić.
