(Patria) - The president of Our Party, Sabina Ćudić, called on judicial institutions to bring to an end the investigations and proceedings involving Our Party officials. She spoke on the show Jutro za sve on BHRT, also addressing the case of Bojan Bošnjak, against whom no indictment has yet been filed.
"Who from Our Party is in prison, what tycoon have we produced, has an indictment been filed against Mr. Bošnjak. I wish for these to be resolved and they have the full support of myself personally and of Our Party to bring these court proceedings to an end, but we don't even have indictments filed," said Ćudić.
And while no indictment has been filed in the case of Bošnjak and others, this is not the case with some other officials of Our Party. In December 2024, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo confirmed the indictment of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office against Nijaz Salamović, Vera Arnautović, Reuf Sulejmanović, Lejla Dragnić, Mirza Mujarić, Adeline Džanković, Edin Salamović, and Enisa Salamović.
Both Vera Arnautović and Reuf Sulejmanović are officials of Our Party, and the indictment relates to abuse of office or authority in connection with appointments at KJKP Rad.
During the interview, Ćudić stated that Our Party has been leading Sarajevo Canton for five years and that it is the strongest canton in the FBiH.
When asked by host Zvonko Komšić who the Trojka coalition is with, Ćudić said that at the KS level, Our Party is in coalition with Trojka, at the FBiH level with HDZ BiH and certain partners, and at the BiH level with HDZ, while they broke off the coalition with SNSD in January.
Ćudić called Dragan Čović's visit to Banja Luka for a meeting with Milorad Dodik "political prostitution".
"I see it as an expression of political despair of both of them. At a moment when you essentially call for war, as Milorad Dodik did last night, it speaks not of his political situation but of deep political despair. Dragan Čović going there is a matter of their prenuptial agreement, which includes the fact that one must not speak about the rights of Croats in Republika Srpska and must not even dream of a Croatian electoral unit in RS; instead, you go there to hold a press conference with a man who is stumbling into oblivion," stated Ćudić.
She said she supports the idea of a joint candidate for the Trojka for the BiH Presidency member and that it could again be Denis Bećirović, which will be a matter of negotiation.
When asked if Our Party has aspirations to one day have a Croatian member of the Presidency, Ćudić said:
"My ambition is not for a Croatian member of the Presidency; my ambition is to implement the constitutional proposals of Our Party, which is the indirect election of one president in the BiH Parliament with reduced powers, which also allows for a broader consensus," she said.
Speaking about tomorrow's session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament and the Budget proposal submitted by the Presidency, she emphasized that the Budget should be adopted but also allow for amendments to the Budget.
