CSR: Recreation registration for senior citizens

 

Organized by the Commission of the Centar Municipal Council for the Status of Senior Citizens, and in cooperation with the Public Institution Center for Sport and Recreation, the project "Recreation for Senior Citizens" begins in April 2015. Recreation classes for our older fellow citizens will be held in the FIS sports hall (Mis Irbina 10) three times a week for 30 minutes each, reports the Patria News Agency. 

All interested senior citizens living in the Centar municipality can register for recreation and get additional information by calling the Center for Sport and Recreation at 033/268-760 or by visiting the premises of the Center for Sport and Recreation (Mis Irbina 10) on the first floor.

-The first part of the project will be realized from April to the end of June, and the second from September until the end of this year. Interested citizens have the option to register during the project. When they come for the first session, which we will inform them about in due time, they will receive the exact schedule of recreation with detailed instructions - said Mirza Pašić, who, along with Adis Mušanović, as physical education professors, leads the project "Recreation for Senior Citizens" at FIS.

-Funds for this project in the amount of KM 5,750 were approved in the budget of the Centar Municipality for 2015, for which we are grateful to Mayor Dževad Bećirević, who accepted the amendment I submitted during the budget adoption - said Zora Ostojić, councilor in Centar and president of the Commission for the Status of Senior Citizens, it was announced from the Centar Municipality.
