
(Patria) - A red warning has been issued for the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 24, 2023.
As announced by Bakir Krajinović from FHMZ, the area for which the warning is issued is the north, northeast and central parts of Bosnia.
“The meteorological phenomenon for which the warning is issued is extremely high daily air temperature. The red warning is issued for 24.07.2023 in the period from 11:00 to 17:00 hours. Maximum temperatures across the country ranged between 33 and 38, which is within the orange warning limits, in the northern, northeastern and partly central areas of Bosnia up to 40 °C, which is within the red warning limits.
Be prepared for high temperatures that will lead to health risks among vulnerable persons, for example elderly and very young people. Act in accordance with the advice of authorized bodies. For all additional information, contact the competent institutions”, Krajinović stated.
Let us recall, an orange warning has been issued for today due to expected rain and thunderstorms.
