Red warning for Herzegovina and southwestern Bosnia, heavy rainfall expected

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A red meteoalarm warning has been issued for the area of Herzegovina and southwestern Bosnia for the period from tonight at 22:00 until March 31 at 23:59, due to expected intense precipitation. 

The expected amount of precipitation in Herzegovina is between 80 and 140 l/m2, and in southwestern Bosnia from 50 to 80 l/m2.

Recommendations and measures to be taken according to the standards of the World Meteorological Organization have also been issued:

TAKE PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES. Stay alert and act in accordance with the advice given by the authorized authorities.

Keep up to date with the latest weather forecast and expect significant disruptions to daily routines.

Travel only if your journey is essential.
