Montenegrins at protests: Resignations by March 15 or we will not disperse

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In Podgorica yesterday, the fourth civic protest was held under the slogan “97,000 Resist”, where organisers said they demand that by March 15 the presidents of the state and the government, Milo Đukanović and Duško Marković, the supreme and chief special state prosecutors, Ivica Stanković and Milivoje Katnić, the RTCG Council, as well as the director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, Sreten Radonjić, submit their resignations.

If this does not happen, the organisers announced a constant gathering at Independence Square until their demands are met. 

From the opposition, the organisers and several thousand demonstrators demanded that it leave the Parliament of Montenegro and boycott all elections in Montenegro until the civic demands for resignations are fulfilled. 

“To all those to whom we have addressed demands for resignations, we give March 15 as the final deadline to fulfil them. If they do not do so by then, on March 16 we will gather again and will not disperse until our demands are met,” said Miloš Krivokapić from the protest organising team.
