Crnadak: In protest, I will not attend Dodik's speech in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska tomorrow

(Patria) - MP in the National Assembly of RS Igor Crnadak (PDP) addressed social media ahead of the special session of the National Assembly of RS.

"Due to the intention of the ruling majority to adopt a law at tomorrow's special session of the National Assembly of RS that will prohibit the financing of political parties from the budget, as a member of parliament, I have decided that, in protest, I will not attend the first item on the agenda, the speech of SNSD president Milorad Dodik, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Agreement.

The aforementioned law is a rape of democracy, a direct attack on critical thinking and freedom of speech, as well as an indicator of the ruthlessness of the ruling regime.

Their action is like someone having a fire in their apartment and deciding to set the entire building on fire because of it.

The unprecedented outburst of anger from SNSD and US towards the opposition may not be stopped by voting tomorrow, but we can be clear and loud in calling things by their proper name.

This law legalizes conducting political campaigns with dirty money and allows corruption to officially influence the winner of the next elections.

In this way, I want to preserve my dignity and at least not help those who are directly attacking me and the people I represent," stated Crnadak.
