Crnadak: Damage to BiH's International Reputation

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - BiH Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak stated at today's press conference that it is a major oversight and damage to BiH's international reputation that the delegation for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has not been appointed.

"This has shown that we have problems when it comes to integration processes. BiH will not participate in the decision-making of the Council of Europe this year. We will not participate in historical decisions, such as the election of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe. I am particularly sorry because BiH has built a good image in the previous term. He pointed out that BiH presided over the PACE during the beginning of the migrant crisis, and we showed then that when we want to, we can do a good job.

Crnadak said that the public should get a clear picture of who was supposed to do this job.

"The election of the delegation has nothing to do with the Council of Ministers. The only truth is that it is the exclusive jurisdiction of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly. We will participate in the ministerial meeting and try to be expeditious in all bodies in order to reduce the damage.

He believes that the new Council of Ministers should include three ministers from the Serb people. Crnadak also said that nothing would change if the ministers from the Alliance for Changes left their positions, as their deputies would then take their places.

"I think it is clear to everyone that SDA, SNSD, and HDZ bear responsibility for the formation of the new Council of Ministers of BiH."

Crnadak said he would refrain from commenting on the actions of the Security Intelligence Agency in Slovenia and BiH, and that the BiH Presidency had taken some steps.
