Crnadak meets with First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak met in Sarajevo with the First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon. The meeting was also attended by the British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Edward Ferguson, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH announced, as reported by the Patria news agency.

 

During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the current political situation in BiH, economic reforms, the fight against corruption, and BiH's European path. The issue of BREXIT was also discussed, with Minister Crnadak expressing hope that the upcoming processes would not hinder the preservation and improvement of cooperation in Europe, especially in areas of common interest to both EU member states and their partners.

Minister Crnadak took the opportunity to express gratitude for the support provided by the United Kingdom to our country in the European integration process, with a special focus on the positive effects of the current British-German initiative.

Minister Crnadak expressed a desire for further improvement of relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom in all areas of cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH stated.
