Crnadak: Schmidt works for SNSD and Dodik, and they work for him!

(Patria) - The Vice-President of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Crnadak, stated that, according to their information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, since Christian Schmidt was appointed in May 2021, the Serb member of the BiH Presidency, who at the time was Milorad Dodik, never sent an official letter to the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor did he verbally inform the minister that Schmidt could not receive a diplomatic ID card and that it should not be issued to him.

Crnadak told a press conference in Banja Luka that none of the associates of the then member of the BiH Presidency did this either.

- It was the time when the coronavirus pandemic was ending, and it could not be expected that Dodik's advisors would react then, because the main international advisor at the time was busy counting money from earnings made by that person's family company selling medical equipment and ventilators to Republika Srpska for tens of millions of KM. So, they had more important things to do - said Crnadak, according to a PDP press release.

He reminded that the Serb member of the Presidency is part of the institution that conducts foreign policy.

- Furthermore, according to our information, neither Zoran Tegeltija, who was the Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers at the time, sent any official letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor did he verbally inform them that Schmidt should not be issued a diplomatic ID card. Also, neither the Serb member of the Presidency nor the Chairman of the Council of Ministers ever put this issue on the agenda at the sessions of the institutions they were part of - said Crnadak.

He points out that from this, it can be concluded that this is a major oversight by Serb officials and that neither SNSD nor their president did anything to hinder or complicate Schmidt's actions in any way, other than making statements.

In his opinion, statements do not have much significance, especially if they say one thing and do another.

- When an analysis is made and the bigger picture is considered, which includes Schmidt's statement that there were minor irregularities in the elections, then the visit of the German delegation on the day of the SNSD counter-rally when the extent of the theft was not yet known, nor were the official election results, and they walked around Banja Luka with Dodik, then the ridiculous threats of arrest, and then Schmidt's arrival in Banja Luka, and finally Schmidt's inappropriate attempt to smear the opposition, the conclusion is clear: Schmidt works for SNSD and Dodik, and they work for him – Crnadak believes.

He called on SNSD, as the most responsible party in RS, to comment on three serious and shameful incidents that happened in just a few days.

- We have the drawing of a pistol on the street, like in cowboy movies, by Dodik's advisor, Branislav Okuka. Just a day before that, the mayor of Šipovo, a high-ranking SNSD official, rudely insulted journalists. And we still have the unresolved dilemma of the famous Kiko and how and in what way that man could be alone in the office of the President of RS and record a video that caused outrage, even anger among the people. SNSD should comment on all of this. Why are they silent? - Crnadak asks.

When asked by journalists how he commented on Schmidt's stay in Banja Luka, Crnadak said it was part of an agreement with Dodik.

- Is there anyone who truly thinks that the leadership of SNSD, Republika Srpska, and Dodik himself did not know he was coming? I repeat, everything was agreed upon – Crnadak stated emphatically, according to the press release.
