Crnadak with Mayors Skaka and Vuković

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak will hold a meeting today with the Mayors of Sarajevo, Abdulah Skaka, and East Sarajevo, Nenad Vuković, on the occasion of the upcoming European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF), which will be hosted by Sarajevo and East Sarajevo.

After the meeting, a press conference will be held where Minister Crnadak and Mayors Skaka and Vuković will speak about the organization and expectations from EYOF.

EYOF 2019 will be held from February 9 to 16 in Sarajevo and East Sarajevo, and the arrival of 46 delegations with more than 750 athletes, coaches, and other staff has been confirmed. Hundreds of volunteers are participating in the organization of EYOF, preparing the opening and closing ceremonies of EYOF, which will be held on February 10 at the "Asim Ferhatović Hase" stadium and on February 16 at the FK Slavija stadium in Lukavica.

All competent services supporting the organization of EYOF have expressed satisfaction with the preparations, and Sarajevo is ready for the biggest sports event since the 14th Winter Olympic Games.

Competitors will compete in eight sports, and BiH will be represented by 21 athletes in five disciplines. The BiH delegation numbers more than 30 members.

150 journalistic teams have been accredited for EYOF, and it will be an opportunity to send images of the most beautiful sports story to the world.
