Crnadak Orders Investigation: Who Opened Ivanić's Envelope

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina today received envelopes addressed to the Chairman and members of the Presidency of BiH, via the BiH Embassy in The Hague. During the process of receiving and registering the mail, it was noticed that the envelope addressed to the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Mladen Ivanić, had been opened. Following internal procedures, it was determined that official persons at the Ministry's headquarters did not open it, it was announced from the MFA BiH, reports Patria.

The mail was sent to the Presidency of BiH at 1:40 PM, and along with the mail, detailed records were delivered to the Presidency of BiH concerning the circumstances of handling this mail and the finding that one of the envelopes had been opened.

In response to the observed irregularities, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Igor Crnadak, has ordered the initiation of internal procedures to determine the responsibility of employees in the Ministry and the BiH Embassy in The Hague, it was announced today from the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
