(Patria) – Great Britain has reported 104 deaths and 2,626 cases of infection, making it third in Europe and fifth in the world by the average fatal outcome of the disease caused by the vicious virus.
Great Britain, which is tenth in the world by the number of infected people, is facing criticism for its slow reaction to the epidemic – schools, for example, are only closing on Friday.
The highest number of deaths is still linked to Italy, where 83 out of 1,000 cases end in death.
Ahead of Great Britain are Iran, China, and Spain, which have a higher average of deaths.
At the same time, Germany, which records more than 12,000 active cases of coronavirus infection, reports only 31 deaths.
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland also have low mortality rates, reports Euronews.
