
SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued new orders to cantonal crisis staffs today.
The Ministry states that as of today, seven cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, three of which are in FBiH.
Orders:
- Cantonal crisis staffs are ordered to, in accordance with the assessment of the epidemiological situation in the canton, issue orders to suspend classes in primary, secondary, and higher education institutions for a period of 15 days, and to immediately report the issued order to the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health. Deadline: Immediately.
- Cantonal crisis staffs are ordered to, in accordance with the assessment of the epidemiological situation in the canton, suspend cultural and sports events in the canton or allow cultural and sports events to be held without an audience, for a period of 15 days, and to immediately report the issued order to the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health. Deadline: Immediately.
- All sports federations based in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are ordered that in the case of organizing international competitions on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without an audience, within the next 15 days, starting from the day this order is issued, they must provide the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health with data on competitors and other persons arriving in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina three days before their arrival, specify the types of transport, places and dates of entry into the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the duration of stay in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as places of stay in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a precise route of movement within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The received data will be distributed to the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs - Sector of the Federal Border Sanitary Inspection and through the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, to the Ministry of Security of BiH - Border Police for competent action. Deadline: Continuous until further notice.
- Cantonal crisis staffs are ordered to, in accordance with the assessment of the epidemiological situation in the canton, suspend sports training for children and youth for a period of 15 days, and to immediately report the issued order to the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health. Deadline: Immediately.
- Cantonal crisis staffs are ordered to, in accordance with the assessment of the epidemiological situation in the canton, intensify epidemiological surveillance in kindergartens and social welfare institutions for children, youth and the elderly, as well as in correctional facilities for a period of 15 days, and to immediately report the issued order to the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health. Deadline: Immediately.
- All citizens in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are recommended to strictly adhere to all recommendations of the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health, or the crisis staffs of cantonal ministries of health, as well as public health institutes in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in order to protect their personal health and public health. Deadline: Continuous until further notice.
- All persons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina who have been issued a measure to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in accordance with the Law on Protection of the Population from Infectious Diseases ("Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", No. 29/05), by cantonal ministers of health, the federal border sanitary inspection or the cantonal sanitary inspection, are ordered to strictly adhere to the imposed measures for the prescribed duration, under threat of misdemeanor and criminal liability. Officials who have issued decisions on the implementation of the aforementioned measures are ordered to continuously monitor the imposed measures and the issued decisions on the imposed measures. Deadline: Continuous until further notice.
- Health workers in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are recommended not to travel abroad, especially to organized professional and scientific gatherings, as well as tourist trips abroad. Deadline: Continuous until further notice.
- We call on citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who live or work in countries affected by the new coronavirus (COVID-19) not to come to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina without a significant need, due to the increased risk of introducing the new coronavirus (COVID-19), which could further worsen the epidemiological situation in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Deadline: Continuous until further notice.
The order entered into force immediately upon adoption.
