Čović's appetites are growing: He also wants the position of Governor of the Central Bank of BiH for Croats

Dragan Čović, leader of HDZ and Croatian member of the BiH Presidency, has been setting demands for the leaders of other parties with whom he entered into a coalition since the General Elections held in October, and his appetites are growing by the day, writes the Patria News Agency.

Dragan Čović stated that at least five Croatian and one Serb ministerial position in the Federation of BiH Government are what satisfies HDZ BiH, and that this party will not settle for less. Čović justifies all his demands by the election results, although the Deputy President of SDA, Bakir Izetbegović, stated that HDZ BiH can only get five ministerial positions in the Federal government.

In addition to the fight for ministerial positions in the executive branch, Čović is already openly talking about institutions whose leadership he wants to see from the Croatian people. Thus, he recently openly stated at a rally that the position of Governor of the Central Bank of BiH should now belong to Croats.

Otherwise, Kemal Kozarić, the Governor of the CBBiH,'s term expires this year, after successfully leading this respectable institution for 10 years.

Experts warn that it is most important that a professional person is appointed to this very responsible position, especially after it was determined that a bank employee stole 600,000 KM despite all security measures.

- I don't know if this request will be granted, like all previous ones. This is not an unimportant institution. A very honest and responsible person should be the governor – says our source.
