Čović in government talks does not want DF

(Patria) - Dragan Čović, president of HDZ, stated after today's session of the NGO HNS that the formation of the Council of Ministers of BiH has been agreed upon between the three political blocs and that they now need to discuss the distribution of portfolios.

"The statement has been agreed upon between the three political blocs. We have reached the stage where we need to discuss the distribution of portfolios. I am waiting for an initiative in the coming days to sit down as soon as possible so as not to encounter other problems. It will take us about 30 days. I don't see any technical problems," Čović said.

When asked if DF is a desirable partner, Čović said that among Bosniaks, SDA, i.e., Bakir Izetbegović, leads the bloc of parties. 

"It is up to SDA to decide who they will have in that bloc. DF will not be in the negotiations, only these three parties," Čović stated.

He stated that Bakir Izetbegović leads the bloc of parties among Bosniaks and that the Democratic Front will not be in the negotiations. The Croatian National Assembly, at today's session, according to Dragan Čović, adopted its rules of procedure, appointed Božo Ljubić as president of the Main Board, prepared its work program, and also discussed personnel appointments.

Čović stated that everything is ready for the Council of Ministers and that he expects the work to be completed soon.
