Čović: Talks with SNSD, SBB, and SDA, but not with DF

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Dragan Čović, President of HDZ BiH, spoke about the meeting with Milorad Dodik, President of SNSD, which will be held today.

He emphasized that the meeting was agreed upon earlier, and that next week they will also talk with SBB and Fahrudin Radončić, and that topics for a meeting with SDA are being arranged. When asked by Patria journalists if a meeting with DF as a fourth partner is planned, Čović said that he leaves it to the journalists to conclude whether it will happen.

“I think this is a situation where we, as partners who form the government, should sit down, talk, clarify some positions so as not to communicate through the media”.

Regarding the amendments to the Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH, which Dodik insists on, Čović stated that their position is known from before, and he believes that foreigners should have left the Constitutional Court long ago, but that the question is how to achieve that and that consensus is needed for it.

When asked by journalists if Bishop Franjo Komarica is right when he says that Republika Srpska is seizing land from Croats, Čović said that he would not comment on any “church dignitary or religious dignitary”.
