(Patria) - Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) Dragan Čović held a meeting today in Sarajevo with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America in BiH John Ginkel, and representatives of the company AAFS Infrastructure and Energy Joseph
Flynnom and Jesse Binnall.
The meeting was also attended by a Member of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA Darijana Filipović.
The meeting discussed current opportunities in BiH, with a special emphasis on improving Bosnia and Herzegovina's energy diversification, and further and long-term strengthening of American investments in BiH.
The importance of achieving key steps in the energy sector as soon as possible was highlighted, while meeting the highest standards, and, as Čović emphasized, the rights and needs of the Croatian people, i.e., all three constituent peoples in BiH.
The implementation of the Southern Gas Interconnection as a strategic energy project, it was emphasized, represents one of the key priorities for the development of opportunities in BiH.
