Čović revives the PRUD agreement and deceives the public: Silajdžić did not sign the agreement on the division of BiH

-Property is not a problem, neither military nor state. I am not sure that Dodik is making a problem about it. Dodik was the first to sign the documents regarding NATO, Partnership for Peace, military and state property.

I spoke with him the other day, he said let's implement the agreement that we all signed, from Haris Silajdžić, Lagumdžija, Tihić, Dragan Čović, Dodik, Čavić, I think there were eight leaders. Three Bosniak, three Serb, and two Croat, said the leader of HDZ BiH Dragan Čović on FACE TV last night, speaking about the agreement on military and state property.

Before that, Čović spoke about BiH being organized into four federal units, which translates to reviving the PRUD agreement signed seven years ago.

A few months later, in January 2009, Milorad Dodik, Sulejman Tihić, and Dragan Čović finalized a good part of the PRUD agreement in Banja Luka, where the division of military and state property, the census, and the status of Brčko District were agreed upon.

Therefore, it is untrue, as Čović stated, that the leaders of eight parties signed the agreement.

The PRUD agreement, and subsequently the Banja Luka agreement, were the original work of the leaders of SDA, HDZ BiH, and SNSD. For the record, these agreements were most sharply criticized by Silajdžić at the time.

Silajdžić, former president of S BiH, although he attended all the meetings of the six ruling parties in BiH in 2008, was not even invited to the meeting in PRUD. He stated at the time that for his party, out of the four points of the agreement reached by the presidents of SDA, HDZ BiH, and SNSD, only the one on determining the final status of Brčko District in the BiH Parliament was acceptable.

For Silajdžić, all other points of the agreement represent, as he stated, the most brutal assault on the integrity and constitutional competencies of BiH, a gross rejection of the recommendations and positions of European institutions on constitutional reform.

Therefore, Silajdžić never put his signature on either the PRUD or the Banja Luka agreement. The tendency is evident, by the leader of HDZ BiH, and after Milorad Dodik also did this recently as a guest on N1, bringing the PRUD agreement with him, to revive the document created seven years ago again.
