Čović declares opposition from RS as partners: We want BiH institutions to do their job

(Patria) - HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović, after today's meeting with opposition representatives from RS in Kupres, told reporters he was glad they sat down and talked.

- I have told you several times already, we talk to all options and everyone talks to everyone for a month or two now. What we wanted to confirm here today, I want this to be heard loudly, is that we want, in peace and stability, to enable our institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to do their job.

To send a message from that side that all those who have been somewhat fearful lately due to the challenges we face in politics, that it is the responsibility of us who lead political options, whether it is the position or opposition at the BiH level, to have the responsibility to come out like this and tell our residents across BiH that we will do it exactly in that way.

And of course we have committed to implement everything we have taken as an obligation over the past year through the Council of Ministers and the Parliament. I think we will continue to negotiate this with partners and ultimately try to see what we can do by the end of this or next year - said Čović.

He said today's conversation took place in an extremely cordial atmosphere - "I would say friendly and offering the possibility to improve that cooperation to a higher level".

When asked "who are these partners", he briefly replied: "Well, you saw them there."
