Čović after meeting with Juncker: We will submit the Questionnaire by the end of February

BRUSSELS, (Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović held a meeting with the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker in Brussels, where they discussed the current political situation in BiH, the Questionnaire, electoral legislation, reforms...

Juncker will visit BiH at the end of February, when he will be presented with the answers to the European Commission's Questionnaire.

Although Čović discussed amendments to the electoral legislation with Juncker, as Čović said after the meeting, meetings with experts from international institutions will follow.

- We cannot change the Constitution, but we can change the electoral law. After the next elections, we can undertake more radical interventions regarding the Sejdić-Finci ruling and the rulings of the court in Strasbourg. It is important to do the minimum that we can accomplish in these three months – said Čović.

European officials with whom meetings were held in Brussels told the members of the Presidency of BiH that they must reach an agreement without imposing solutions.
