(Patria) - The current political situation in BiH was the only item on the agenda of the joint session of the Presidency and the Main Board of HNS BiH.
"Our desire is to continue the normal functioning of BiH, within its borders, through all institutions. I am convinced that there is no reason why this should not be the case. That we have economic and social peace. Peace and stability in BiH. The second direction, the European integration of BiH, not just European. We believe that tomorrow at the Council of Ministers we will have adopted the Laws on the HJPC and the Court, as well as the budget. This would allow us to formally say that we have fulfilled the basic conditions for our European path. And of course, to ensure full constitutional equality of all peoples, especially where their constituent rights are protected", said Čović.
He announced that HNS will be in constant session.
"People have suffered enough for others to start thinking about different things", said Čović.
Commenting on global circumstances, he said it is time to focus on resolving internal problems. When asked if it is realistic to expect the adoption of laws in these circumstances, Čović said he is convinced it can happen tomorrow.
“We should have made decisions ourselves before, not pursued alibi politics. I am not worried about geopolitical relations. Times are changing, many things are happening completely invisibly, but we are too small to say more about such analyses", said Čović.
He said he does not want to comment on the verdict.
"When it becomes final, someone will probably face some sanctions for it. I don't see any reason why anyone would block any of the institutions at the BiH level, including those related to the decisions of the NSRs", said Čović, adding that talks are continuing and that they took place over the weekend.
"We will certainly work with Dodik and SNSD representatives, as well as others. There is no turning our backs on anyone. We want to talk to everyone", said Čović.
He said that cooperation continues.
"Anarchy suits no one, and we will be against anyone who tries to create such an environment in BiH", said Čović.
