Čović announces to partners: We will immediately raise the issue of the Election Law

(Patria) - President of HDZ BiH Dragan Čović said today that the European Commission's report on Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2024 contains everything BiH needs to do, and that the coalition will continue discussions. The next meeting is scheduled for next week and will be held in the building of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

"I think we have started a dynamic process, we had discussions in Sarajevo these days, they did not immediately result in effects at the Council of Ministers yesterday, but as we will have another meeting on Monday-Tuesday in Sarajevo where everyone representing the government's position should sit, I believe we will make a strong step forward and that many things will be behind us," Čović said in Mostar.

"The report has largely defined that we must do some things urgently and precisely, and they have set the year 2025 as the deadline. I am convinced that no issue, except perhaps the Law on the Court or the Election Law, has caused excessive disputes among us, and of course, we will immediately raise the issue of the Election Law and everything we have been talking about for a long time. Now is the right time to discuss it," Čović announced.

He said that BiH must be organized, the Croatian people must elect their representatives, and that must be clear to everyone, and that this is not a topic to be avoided.
