Čović with Kolinda: Amendments to the Election Law of BiH are a priority

Following recent statements by Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović about "10,000 radicalized individuals in BiH" and other accusations against BiH, to which BiH Presidency member Bakir Izetbegović responded by asking if that is how a good neighbor behaves, Dragan Čović, a member of the BiH Presidency, traveled to Zagreb.

Whether to ease tensions or to support the Croatian president is unknown, but Čović announced on his Twitter profile that he discussed amendments to the Election Law in BiH with Grabar Kitarović.

- Amending the election law in BiH by the end of this year is a priority - Čović stated.

Thus, despite the obviously strained relations between the two countries and numerous open issues, he went to discuss the Election Law, which does not concern Croatia at all. 

Izetbegović earlier told Čović that he should represent the interests of BiH given the position he holds.
