Čović and Špirić continue to violate Rules of Procedure, eight delegates leave session of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA

(Patria) - The Bosniak Caucus, along with three other delegates, left the session of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA after the material for the agenda amendment, requested by eight delegates, was not distributed to the delegates even after a 15-minute break. The amendment proposed that the dismissal of Nikola Špirić and two SNSD ministers in the Council of Ministers of BiH be the first two items on today's emergency session.

Dragan Čović, member of the Collegium, also addressed the delegates with a request to adopt the so-called "European laws" - the Law on the HJPC and the Law on the Court of BiH, and that whoever wishes can leave the session afterwards.

Kemal Ademović, member of the Collegium, denied Čović, stating that they are not on the first item and that the Collegium did not have a consensus on the agenda, and that in such situations the House has the final say, but the presiding officer Špirić does not put the delegates' proposals to a vote.

"If there are proposals for amending the agenda, the House votes on it. Given that this is being avoided, this law offered as the first item does not look like a European law to me; on the contrary, it looks like an anti-European law and should not have been placed before laws that should bear the EI mark, but do not, for reasons unknown to me," said Ademović.

Želimir Nešković was the first to announce leaving the session because Špirić refused to include the request of eight delegates to expand the agenda, which has happened for the fourth time, and then Džemal Smajić took the floor.

"Just two words for the record, colleagues in the House of Peoples Nikola Špirić and Dragan Čović have continued to violate the Rules of Procedure, and you are responsible for these blockades on our European path," said Smajić, after which the Bosniak Caucus left the hall.

Špirić declared a one-hour break, but even after the break, there was no quorum for further work.

Špirić announced that the continuation of the 16th regular session would be held starting at 13:20.
