Čović and Plenković from Mostar Send Message of Continued Strong Cooperation Between Sister Parties

(Patria) - A meeting of the delegations of HDZ BiH and HDZ Croatia, led by presidents Dragan Čović and Andrej Plenković, was held today at the HDZ BiH House in Mostar.

During the meeting, discussions were held on continuing to strengthen the strong cooperation between sister parties, with an emphasis on the lasting commitment to protecting the rights of Croats in BiH, as well as BiH's European path, relevant reform processes, and strategic development projects.

Čović emphasized the efforts being made to ensure political stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in anticipation of the upcoming Local Elections, as well as the necessity of urgent reform implementation to achieve progress on BiH's European path.

The importance of further "strengthening cooperation with the sister party, which daily contributes to efforts to build the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina" was highlighted.

Plenković stated that HDZ Croatia will continue its excellent cooperation with the sister party HDZ BiH "for the benefit of the Croatian people in BiH, as well as for the improvement and stability of the entire BiH".

- The common priority is BiH's European path, as well as achieving full equality of all three constituent peoples in BiH, which is important for the functionality and harmonious relations among the peoples in BiH - stated Plenković.

In conclusion, it was stated that "this meeting once again confirms the commitment to strong mutual relations and joint efforts in directing Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European path, which is indicated as key for long-term progress, along with the protection of the rights of Croats as a constituent people, guaranteed by the Constitution".

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy President of HDZ BiH Borjana Krišto, Vice-Presidents of HDZ BiH Lidija Bradara and Toni Kraljević, Secretary General of HDZ BiH Goran Božić, and Federal Minister of Transport and Communications Andrijana Katić.
