Čović and Dodik met without the Troika members

(Patria) - Delegations of HDZ BiH and SNSD, led by party presidents Dragan Čović and Milorad Dodik, met today in Banja Luka to discuss the current political situation in BiH.

It is interesting that no representatives of the Troika – Čović's and Dodik's third coalition partners at the state level – attended today's meeting.

Let us recall that these meetings have been postponed twice, the first time due to the funeral of those who perished in the catastrophic floods in Jablanica, and the second time due to scheduling conflicts.

Although the leader of SDP BiH, Nermin Nikšić, announced this meeting for the end of this month, it has still not happened.

Besides Dodik and Čović, today's meeting from SNSD was also attended by Staša Košarac, Nikola Špirić, Željka Cvijanović, and Srđan Amidžić, and from HDZ, Borjana Krišto and Andrijana Katić.

Both Čović and Dodik announced themselves on their X accounts.

"Working meeting with coalition partners from SNSD on the current political situation and steps to accelerate the European path and general development of BiH.

Stable political dialogue of all participants in power is needed, as well as the implementation of all priority issues," wrote Dragan Čović on X.

Milorad Dodik also briefly reported on the meeting on his X account.

"Regular meeting and consultations between SNSD and HDZ. A high degree of understanding was shown regarding open issues," said the SNSD president.
