Čović and Dodik announced an unquestionable coalition

In Mostar, a meeting of the top leadership of the Croatian Democratic Union of BiH (HDZ BiH) and the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) was held today, expressing readiness to resolve key issues for BiH in the next four years, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

The implementation of the Sejdić – Finci ruling, the establishment of a coordination mechanism, and the submission of an application for membership in the European Union were discussed.

The President of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, and the President of SNSD, Milorad Dodik, emphasized that the partnership between these two parties is unquestionable and that these two parties will form the axis of future government at all levels, and they invited the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and other Bosniak parties to reach an agreement on who will represent Bosniaks in that government.

We remind you that Čović and the Deputy President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), Bakir Izetbegović, discussed principles yesterday, but key agreements, as stated, were left for next week.

Otherwise, international representatives in BiH, ambassadors, the EU Delegation, and the OHR have expressed a desire for the fastest possible formation of government.

Dodik said that the issue of government at the level of the BiH entity of Republika Srpska is an almost completed matter, and Čović said that he expects the same parties to participate at all levels in BiH.

As Čović stated, they are awaiting a reaction from Sarajevo so that the main part of the work can be completed by the end of the year, which has never happened from Dayton to this day, writes NAP.
