After an informal conversation with the Deputy President of SDA Bakir Izetbegović, HDZBiH leader Dragan Čović said he hopes that as early as next week they will have formed the Council of Ministers and the Government of FBiH, as well as some cantonal governments, HNK, SBK..., reports Patria's reporter.
However, he said he still maintains that HDZ and the parties gathered around them are entitled to six positions, among which is certainly the Ministry of Finance.
-So, there is no compromise here. Our demands are clear and based on what we received in the elections, we are entitled to one third of the positions in the BiH Government. Some are obviously changing their wishes and tying themselves only to HDZ, so at one meeting they say we don't want Bosniak and Croat positions, and at another they say we want everything that HDZ has, said Čović adding:
-I will underline that we will have governments formed in any way.
To a journalist's question who else besides DF he sees as his partner, Čović said:
-HDZ has only one partner and that is SDA. What they will do, we will see, but HDZ is not running away from a minority government either.
The HDZ leader did not want to comment on Izetbegović's earlier statement that a minority government is not acceptable for SDA.
