A Man on a Special Mission: How Vojin Mijatović is Destroying the Federation?

Visibly intoxicated, and with a significant delay, the Federal Deputy Prime Minister Vojin Mijatović opened a historic session of the Federation Government. Minister Ramo Isak warned that the session was being held on the verge of a quorum.

Sanja Vlaisavljević briefly left, and the quorum was lost. Deputy Prime Minister Mijatović then interrupted the session and warned his colleagues that a decision on a minimum wage of 1,000 marks must be made.

Then a vote was held, and Vojin informed two or three media outlets about the historic success – the minimum wage will be 1,000 KM in the Federation starting January 1, 2025.

If you are wondering why I am calling this session of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina historic, archive this text and reread it in May of next year, 2025. Then you will understand how Vojin Mijatović, a former cadre of Dodik's SNSD, pushed the Federation of BiH into an economic abyss.

Anyone who can add and subtract will easily calculate the effects of Mijatović's decision, made under the authority of Nermin Nikšić, in a few months. Estimates from both employers and economic experts suggest that at least 20,000 workers will lose their jobs due to the decision of the Government of the Federation of BiH. Bleak, but no less objective, estimates say that up to 50,000 workers could end up unemployed.

Since losing the elections for the BiH Presidency member from the Serb people in 2022, throwing away 38,000 Bosniak votes from Republika Srpska, Mijatović was reassigned to the Federation. He became the Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts and the Federal Deputy Prime Minister. He actually became the de facto head of the Government of the Federation of BiH, as Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić still fears Mijatović's knowledge and mediation regarding the fourth delegate from Dodik who was pushed into the House of Peoples through the "votes" of the SDP BiH.

The Government of the Federation of BiH will, "unofficially" inform the media Minister Mijatović, subsidize the costs of increasing the minimum wage for small and medium-sized enterprises, through the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts.

Even if this were true, and it is questionable whether it is, as this obligation to subsidize is not stipulated by any act, Vojin Mijatović will become the ruler of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Federation. Because he will personally decide who meets the criteria and who will receive budget funds.

If he adheres to the same principles as, for example, the distribution of federal funds to municipalities in Republika Srpska, and sends his envoy Saša Grbić to the field (we will soon have evidence of the case from Brod), the economy in the Federation does not have a good outlook.

On the same day that the decision on the minimum wage of 1,000 KM was made under the guidance of the visibly tipsy Minister Vojin Mijatović, the Government of the Federation also adopted the Decision on Temporary Financing. This means that the Federation will start 2025 without a budget. This further means that for the first three months of next year, payments will be made based on this year's budget, which did not anticipate a minimum wage of 1,000 KM.

Therefore, the Government of the Federation will not be able to pay its employees who had a salary lower than 1,000 KM the minimum wage of 1,000 KM, as it was not planned in this year's budget.

Under the influence of alcohol, Mijatović could not think about the percentages of federal employees. Even if he wanted to subsidize small and medium-sized enterprises for paying the minimum wage of 1,000 KM, how will he do it in the first three months for which the Decision on Temporary Financing is expected to be in effect? The Government of FBiH has not yet even drafted the budget. This certainly means there will be no incentives in January and February. And this, in turn, means that an economic crisis will already occur in March.

There are thousands of unresolved issues regarding the decision on the minimum wage, but there is only one answer: Vojin Mijatović is destroying the federal economy. Whether the Federal Deputy Prime Minister is actually a "man on a special mission" is not even important. Whether he does it out of ignorance or by order from Belgrade, the outcome is the same.

Let me remind you again – in 2022, Vojin Mijatović destroyed 38,000 Bosniak votes in RS that could have strengthened opposition cadres from Republika Srpska. Thanks to Bosniak votes in the NSRS, Vojin Mijatović brought in former members of the Army of RS who are perfectly fine with Bosnia and Herzegovina being expelled from the institutions of RS.

Vojin Mijatović, without any electoral legitimacy or capacity, manages both the SDP and the Government of the Federation. For Vojin Mijatović, Denis Bećirović is a "radical," and Benjamina Karić is a "cleaner of hated baklava."

For Vojin Mijatović and his "hostess" in a Sarajevo podcast speaking in "ekavica," the convicted genocidaire Radovan Karadžić and the first President of the Presidency of RBiH Alija Izetbegović, who was not even indicted for crimes, are the same.

Vojin Mijatović demonstrates his patriotism by celebrating BiH Statehood Day and RS Day at the party level, not in the BiH Presidency, the institution that symbolizes the state.

Therefore, when you read this text in May and wonder who is to blame for the collapse of the federal economy, look towards Vojin Mijatović and Nermin Nikšić.

And one more thing – Vojin Mijatović is not a traitor. He is, in fact, working for his own interests!
