Cormack met with a group of mayors and municipal heads

On the sidelines of the "American Business Forum for Promotion and Networking" held today, September 22, in Banja Luka, the US Ambassador to BiH, Maureen Cormack, met with a group of mayors and municipal heads.

- This working lunch was an opportunity to discuss how these mayors and municipal heads have improved the business climate in their municipalities and cities, with a special emphasis on the most effective methods for achieving economic growth and how the US Embassy in BiH can support further development at the local level.

Most of the mayors and municipal heads who attended the working lunch today lead municipalities/cities that have received BFC certificates for a favorable business environment. These certificates are awarded based on business conditions at the local level with the aim of enabling the exchange of experiences, encouraging quality governance by local authorities, and increasing competitiveness among municipalities and cities in the region, thereby attracting new investments - it was announced.
