Cormack visits Agro-Industrial Complex of STUDEN Holding in Brčko

United States Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Maureen Cormack, visited the Agro-Industrial Complex of STUDEN Holding in Brčko, which includes the edible oil production factory BIMAL d.d. and STUDEN-AGRANA Sugar Refinery, reports Patria agency.

During the visit to the production center of STUDEN Holding, discussions were held on current economic topics, opportunities for improving the business environment in the country, and potential investments. One of the meeting topics was the importance of political and economic stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina for further investments in BiH.

The United States Ambassador to BiH, Maureen Cormack, showed interest in the future activities of STUDEN Holding and any plans for expansion and investments.

President of the Management Board of STUDEN Holding, Ilija Studen, emphasized the importance of establishing cooperation among all actors in the country who can contribute to improving the business environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- Support from countries with developed economies is always a valuable incentive for creating a good business climate. Establishing political and economic stability is a prerequisite for further investments in the Bosnian-Herzegovinian manufacturing industry - Studen pointed out.

The United States Ambassador Maureen Cormack was hosted by President of the Management Board of STUDEN Holding Ilija Studen, Director of Corporate Communications of the Holding Nataša Pucar, and Executive Director for Economic Affairs of BIMAL Ševal Suljkanović.

STUDEN Holding has an international agribusiness portfolio that includes processing and trade of oilseeds and grains, as well as production and distribution of food products, white crystal sugar, and edible oils. The Agro-Industrial Complex in Brčko is one of the centers of STUDEN Holding. At the same time, it is one of the largest agro-industrial complexes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in the region.
