Cormack meets Ivanić: Discussion on Election Legislation

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Member of the Presidency of BiH from Republika Srpska Mladen Ivanić met with the Ambassador of the United States of America to BiH Maureen Cormack. The topic of discussion was the political and economic situation in BiH.

Ambassador Cormack congratulated the member of the Presidency of BiH on submitting the answers to the European Commission's Questionnaire and emphasized that this is an important step on BiH's European path.

They also discussed finding an adequate solution for amending the Election Law of BiH, which would respect the interests of the constituent peoples, enable the implementation of the rulings of the Constitutional Court of BiH and the Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, and resolve the issue of filling the Serb Club in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament.
