Cormack meets Čović: Strengthening political dialogue in BiH

Member of the BiH Presidency Dragan Čović held a meeting with the United States Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack, during which they discussed the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Čović informed Ambassador Cormack about upcoming activities aimed at obtaining candidate status by the end of 2017, in accordance with the BiH Presidency's Master Plan, it was announced from the BiH Presidency, reports Patria.

The interlocutors agreed that, with a clear focus on the future, it is necessary to work with increased intensity on the integration of BiH into the EU. This requires adherence to the clearly defined dynamics for the implementation of obligations through close cooperation of all levels of government, especially within the established coordination mechanism.

In further discussion, Čović informed the Ambassador about activities in the context of the indispensable reform of the election law. The Ambassador expressed the full support of the USA for these processes, as well as support for strengthening the internal political dialogue in the country.
