Cormack and Wigemark meet Izetbegović: Solution for the House of Peoples of the FBiH must be in line with the Constitution

Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović received US Ambassador Maureen Cormack and Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Lars Gunnar Wigemark.

They discussed the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the possibilities of finding optimal solutions for amendments to the election legislation related to the composition of the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH, including the Serb Club.

Chairman Izetbegović emphasized that all solutions, in line with the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH in the Ljubić case, must be based on the provisions of the Constitution of the Federation of BiH.

The meeting also discussed the status of Mostar and possible solutions for this city, which would enable the holding of elections and equal representation of members of all peoples and citizens.
